Buckrabanyule is a large, modern and very comfortable home in the centre of Elwood, with frontage to the Elwood Canal and about 500m from Elwood Beach. Very family friendly, there are up to 16 beds plus two portacots and an Emmalunga pram. Babies sleeping in the portacots and pram are free. We hope you will walk in and immediately feel at home in the comfortable spaciousness of the huge kitchen and dining room with polished floors and high ceilings . The best quality furnishings, utensils and amenities have been provided so you will be proud to invite your friends to visit while you are in your temporary or holiday accommodation. For entertaining, the dining table seats ten, and there are two high chairs. The cooking facilities are first class with plumbed in ice/water side by side 600 litre refrigerator freezer, with another 400 litre refrigerator freezer in a cupboard in the garage, microwave oven, double wall oven, induction hob, dishwasher and full set of superb quality stainless steel saucepans, frying pans and roasters, plus all appliances, utensils, kitchen knives, serving dishes, cutlery, crockery and glassware. Selection of herbs and spices, plus olive oil, balsamic vinegar, coffee, tea and sugar are provided in the walk in pantry. If you require additional utensils, or anything, simply send us a note at reservations@buckrabanyule.com.au and we'll provide them as quickly as possible. The dining area also accommodates a vintage piano, TV and DVD/VCR, music system with USB port for iPod, plus drawers full of games, 50+ movies on DVD and VHS tapes plus 100+ CDs. Upstairs there's a library of 1,000 books! Extra wide solid timber double doors open the dining area to the lounge, offering very comfortable TV viewing in a modular leather suite to seat eight (or ten if you're more friendly) in front of the HD LCD screen (1920x1080i for those who understand these things) and DVD player. Or simply enjoy the open fire. Central heating and cooling are controlled from the panel in the kitchen, along with intercom to front door and upstairs. Intercom is connected to the security system. Venture further and if you're on business you'll love the fitted office with laser printer and cable modem and router with wired or wireless access. There's also an iMac with internet access and Appleworks word processing and spreadsheet programs if you happen to forget your own computer. Plus plenty of storage in cupboards and file drawers to keep your work organised. Laundry is a breeze with a commercial washing machine and separate dryer (can dry nine towels in one go). The laundry has an indoor clothesline and can be used a drying room with the central ducted heating. There is also an outside line for all the towels you'll use in the endless swimming gas heated spa pool. There is also a full size bathroom downstairs off the laundry - handy for a shower after a dip. The pool area includes a really big umbrella, eight seat outdoor dining setting and BBQ with roasting hood plus the full set of tools, skewers and corn spikes. Three cars can be parked off street (one in auto lock up garage). The garage also has another 400 litre refrigerator (hidden in a cupboard) and extensive cupboard storage plus a hookey game, a pool table, two bikes and a vintage putter. The putter is required to test your skill or obtain that extra practice on the three hole putting green. A basketball hoop is attached to the front of the garage for enthusiastic types for a little one on one - the basketball is in the cupboard near the refrigerator. The rear garage doors fold back to open the garage to the pool area. Also happy to provide two pet beds if requested. (Some conditions on pets though!) Note: there is also a small room under the stairs that is perfect for the pet's bed (or great place to hide small children). Upstairs, (child safety gates can be installed at top and bottom of stairs) nine people are easily accommodated in the four double bedrooms with walk-in robes (and with 4 camp stretchers and two on the foldout couch in the office up to 15 people can be accommodated). The beds upstairs are all superbly comfortable, king size, pillow top, and can be set up as twin or double with luxurious Egyptian pure cotton bed linen. There is a selection of pillow types to suit the most fastidious. There are two more bathrooms (with hair dryers) and two toilets upstairs. The bathrobes and heavyweight pure cotton bath sheets, towels, bath mats and face towels are also available for sale, by order. And the bed linen, but expect at least a twelve week wait on it before delivery.
